Q: About my review...
It's incredible that Appsumo, once you request a refund for a software, no longer allows you to leave a review. It doesn't even let you respond to any replies to your review.
Beyond that:
- The job was promoted with the same budget as always on LinkedIn. While with that same money on LinkedIn we get more than 400 candidates in an hour, on X Interview only 4 came in 24 hours.
People don't want to leave LinkedIn and don't want to record themselves. I would have loved it if they did.
- We used the software for 3 different vacancies over the course of 1 month. It wasn't a 24-hour trial.
- The AI aspect is very limited in applications. Generating the job description is something that can be done in any GPT. The interesting thing about XInterview is that it could analyze candidates in depth.

To clarify, XInterview does not directly drive traffic to job postings. The number of applicants depends on factors such as where and how the job is advertised, the role’s appeal, salary, and the job market conditions. On LinkedIn, many candidates can apply with a single click—often without even reading the job description—whereas video interviews require effort and commitment, resulting in a more engaged and serious applicant pool.
Regarding participation, many candidates initially submit their CVs and take some time before completing the video interview. Some prefer to prepare before recording their responses, which can take a few days. Our key advantage is flexibility—candidates can record at any time, and you can review submissions at your convenience.
On the AI side, we currently use it for job description generation, structured question creation, and transcript analysis. We recognize the potential for deeper AI-driven candidate evaluation features are on our roadmap, and we continuously improve the platform based on user feedback.
