I recently purchased Billed here on AppSumo, and while I like the majority of the UI, it could be better.

For example, I was inputting some previously paid expenses and invoices sent into Billed. While the date of the expenses were different, Billed showed them all in the month in which they were approved. This is a different user experience from the Invoices view. The invoices were different dates and yet they were marked as paid all on the same day. The invoices appeared in the Dashboard in the month that they were supposed to.

This is just something to be aware of when you are putting information in the first time into Billed.

The app is not functioning at its full capacity. To send quotes or invoices it loads indefinitely. Had to write support to fix this issue. I love the services they offer and hope they will stay behind their promises.

I've been using Quickbooks for almost 18 years and growing less fond of it with each year. I don't need the Payroll feature that is forced on me and features have been removed that I do need.

Soooo, I find Billed on AppSumo. It looks like it might be just what I need. I haven't spent a lot of time with it yet other than going through the basic setup. That was very quick and easy to do, and invoicing with recurring invoicing is a feature I need. The UI seems to be pretty straight forward and well thought out. I look to seeing the reports once the invoices are entered. That will be important.

I haven't reached out to their support yet to see if I can import my QB data as that would save me a great deal of time setting this up. I also haven't tried connecting either PayPal or Stripe yet. I have seen complaints about that here and hope Billed has improved that feature.

I do all my work on my computer in my office and as such, don't concern myself with the mobile app side of things. So I cannot comment on any app features. But who knows, if that works well, I might be able to leave my office someday if the app allows me to do that.

I will report back once I actually begin trying to send invoices. I hope this will be the answer to my QB problems. No matter what, I will not be refunding this as it was worth the money just to see what I might be able to do with it.

We just got Billed a few days ago and set up both my wife's business on it along with my own. We weren't sure if we'd have to get a refund on it if it didn't work for us, but I was surprised at how easy it was to set up and how quickly it came together. I'm just thrilled with it, actually. I'd been looking for something like this and didn't want to pay the prices I was seeing for things like quickbooks and freshbooks.
So far, this has been an incredible purchase. Very happy with it. I've contacted support a couple times already as I've been setting things up and got a response back within about a day.
Before, I was using excell, just setting up my own spreadsheet to keep all my records. It was fine, but this is really slick, keeps everything together, and allows my business to grow in a professional directions!
Oh, and I can't forget about the app. It was easy to install and setup, and switching back and forth between businesses on it is simple.

I really enjoyed the product, and I'm eagerly awaiting the roadmap development. Despite the negative reviews, I fully understand the challenges of product development as a founder. I appreciate the generous offer from the founders as it allows us to invest and reap the benefits in the future. I have invested in many Appsumo products at their early stages and have faith in the team, as this is not their first successful product. I do hope that they can accelerate the development process a bit faster so that early stage investors like myself can benefit from the accounting feature soon. So far, everything has been working excellently and efficiently.

I wish the founders the best of luck. I am very satisfied with Tier 04.
