Q: Can we create an Audience using the API?

HI, Our developer was looking at your app and complained that he can not create a new Audience with your API, is that right? Our use case involves integration with another software where we will have to create new audiences via API and then manage subscribers in there... Is that right? That you can not create audiences through your API? If so, then can is that something you can do for us? Create that API?

A: Hello,

That is correct, creating an audience with the API is not an available option, we removed it in the new API update and audience can only be created using the UI.

We use this approach to prevent customers from using the product for purposes that are against our terms, for example configuring the API to create a new audience for every agency client, which is prohibited.

Our open rates differ from user to user, and open rates are no longer a valid metric for email marketing due to email clients pre-loading images, it disrupts the tracking pixel, so it is hard to rely on opens.
