I don't write reviews for most products I purchase on AppSumo. However, FacePop is a fantastic lead generation tool, and I want to share my experience so far. I’m really glad I picked up the 2-code deal!

The app interface is clean and well laid out, and once I got past a bit of an initial learning curve, I could see how powerful it is. I am looking forward to the evolution of this product. I want to use this on every website I build!

What I Love

• Effective Lead Capture: The tool seems like a serious conversion booster. Once set up, it works almost exactly as expected.

• Great List of Integrations: They’ve already got a solid lineup of integrations. (I was pleasantly surprised to see a lesser-known email marketing platform Selzy included, which I use on some client projects.)

• iFrame Works Well: However, it's important to note that it just places the FacePop on a page. It does not do the overlay effect the way the Instant Embed feature does.

• Instant Embed Works Well: I ran into some issues at first, but once I realized the script needed to go in the main WP site footer (not an Elementor footer), it worked exactly as expected.

• Support: The AI chatbot wasn't helpful for me. However, their email support team is friendly and responsive. (It seems to take about 24 hours to get a response.)

I did experience several things that kept this from being a five-taco review.

• Login UI Issue: Every time I log in, I get a blank white screen on the left side under the greeting. Refreshing the page fixes it, but it happens every time. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning.

• Workspace Navigation: There is a bit of a learning curve when figuring out the difference between the main menu and the workspace menu. Also, once I understood that the admin workspace has access to everything from the other workspaces, it made sense, but at first, it was not intuitive. I kept thinking something was wrong when switching between the admin workspace and another workspace. It was not until I had two separate workspaces in addition to the admin workspace that it all made sense.

• Integrations and Workflow: The list of integrations is great, but Bento has become my primary email platform, and it is not supported yet. (If you don't know about Bento yet, be sure to check it out. it is super powerful and extremely affordable.)

I tried setting up a workaround using the Google Sheets CTA and SureTriggers, but SureTriggers’ Google Sheets automation does not currently fire in real-time, only on a schedule or manual push. That means I cannot instantly deliver a freebie after an email opt-in, which is a big part of my workflow and something I expected FacePop to handle. Facepop does offer an Email CTA for a redirect. But without a direct integration with Bento or a way to trigger a redirect after email submission in the Google Sheet CTA, it is not yet a viable lead-generation tool for the website I actually purchased this for!

• Onboarding and Tooltips: The help center is solid, but there are no in-app tutorials or tooltips. A quick guided walkthrough would help new users get up to speed faster. That said, this is partly on me since I tend to dive in first and read the docs later if I can't figure it out on my own.

All that being said, FacePop is an incredibly well-designed lead-generation tool, and I can see it working great for a lot of people. If they add more integration options like Bento and SureTriggers, along with a way to redirect users after submitting their email via the Google Sheets CTA, this would easily be a five-taco review from me.

I am not sure how receptive and nimble their development team responds to feature requests. But hopefully, enough people will request Bento and SureTriggers integration and a google sheets redirect! ( Send them an email: hi@answerly.io)

Would I recommend it? Absolutely, if this is the kind of lead-generator you're looking for. But be sure to check if it integrates with your workflow first. If your email marketing tool is on their list, you are golden!

It works and it works well. A solid solution that helps create a simple face chat easily. You can create complex ones too with a bit of effort.
Totally worth it.

This app really delivers what it promises! It would be interesting to include an option to change the format of the chart, for example, to a circular format. Is there any plan for that? Another thing, I'm visiting the site that has other products, and I'm waiting for them to appear on AppSumo to purchase =D

This tool has some nice integrations, including gohighlevel. I used the webhook to send invitations to my skool group. This tool is really nice and the company behind Facepop has some other cool tools. Pickup this tool with 2 codes, you will not regret it.
