Q: Hedy Ai - Help

First of all, I’d like to congratulate you on the app! I’ve been following its progress for some time now, and I truly appreciate the work you’ve put into it. I have a couple of questions:

1. Does the app support audio playback for responses? I believe this would be a great feature for language learners, especially for practicing speaking skills through mock interviews or roles. If this functionality is available, how can I access it?

2. My Android version is not compatible with the app. Is there a desktop or web version available for Windows?

1. This is something we've had a few requests for and something we are definitely evaluating for the future.

2. We're working on a native desktop app that we expect to launch in March. It will be included in the Pro license.

Q: Proc Account API

On your website it shows for the Pro account, “ Zapier and API integration”.

I’m interested in knowing why it’s not mentioned here. So I’m curious, is API access available/included?

A: The API is definitely included as part of the Pro license sold here. We only added the API feature this month and haven't had a chance to update the AppSumo listing accordingly.

Q: License and Export questions

Hi,

I’m thinking of getting this for my son. He has an android phone now and will be upgrading to an iPhone later. Will he be able to move his license?

I didn’t see (unless I missed it) an option to export conversations/results of Hedy. What export options are available?

A: Thanks for the question! As long as your son logs in with the same Hedy user account, his license will carry over between devices.

As far as export, currently the app allows exporting one session at a time via the "Share All Data" menu item on the session screen. If your son has cloud sync enabled, then all sessions will automatically show up on his new device.

Q: MIC is being used by another device.

Hi
If I am connected to Teams on my desktop, do I also need to log in to the same Teams meeting on my mobile, meaning two logins—one from the desktop and one from the mobile—for Hedy to listen? When I log in on only one device and give mic access to Teams (because I need to listen and talk in the meeting), I can't give mic access to Hedy. I get an error that the mic is being used by another device. What is the correct way to handle this situation?

A: Thanks for the question! At this time Hedy can only listen to meetings via the microphone on your mobile device, so you'd need to play the meeting over the speakers on your desktop. We are working on a native desktop app that will work with work with headsets on desktop (expected launch in March).
