Overall its good expereince, here are some suggestions for improvements that could enhance the recording experience:

Streamlined Recording Process: Simplify the recording interface to make it more user-friendly. This could include fewer steps to initiate and finalize recordings, allowing users to start and stop recordings with one click.

Faster Saving and Processing: Reduce the time it takes to save recorded videos and generate shareable links. Optimizing the backend processing can significantly enhance the user experience.

Flexible Sharing Options: Provide users with more options when it comes to sharing content and camera. Instead of restricting to just full-screen sharing, allow users the option to select specific windows or applications to share, including the capability to share camera feeds independently.

Nutze nun Vento seit geraumer Zeit und ich bin mehr als beeindruckt, wie einfach und schnell man damit Videos aufnehmen und auch sharen kann. Klar kann man noch ein Kleinigkeiten und Details optimieren.

I've recently switched from Loom to Vento. It's not got all the Loom features, but it's got everything I need (recording more than 5 mins of monitor, audio and webcam and then the ability to share videos).

Plus, the feature to re-record parts of your video is really easy to use and really useful. I didn't buy Vento for this feature, but I've found it's one I didn't know I needed! Now, I use it, and it's brilliant.

There is a slight bug that I'd like to see fixed: when I'm recording a video showing my webcam and monitor... and then I click on a button on a website to to upload a file/image (I do this to show my new customers how to use a certain feature in my app) my webcam recording stops. The audio and monitor recording continues, but the webcam recording stops.

This is a minor issue, but it would be great to have that fixed.

I'd also like to see the product roadmap and interact with what's planned. For example, I'd love to 'upvote' something about asynchronous reactions (like Vidcast, etc.).

All in all, this is a great product, and it is well worth buying as an alternative to Loom. I have no regrets!

It's been a great screen recording tool with a few updates to look forward to. There is a bit of a lag at the start of the recording but I just trim it out. The video quality could also improve but honestly it's a start up so I'm happy to support this early stage and excited for the future for this lifetime deal with unlimited recordings. That's crazy!

I appreciate the simplicity of the product and that it doesn't try to "be all things to all people". It's great at offering easy screen recording and re-recording where you've messed up. I also like that it can transcribe my videos for me and in my experience, it does a great job of it. Happy with the product - here's my wish list to make the product incredible:

- Round webcam option instead of square when screensharing (similar to Loom or others out there). Or even a vertical rectangle like the shape of an Instagram Reel or TikTok, would make it feel a little more modern.
- Blur background, similar to Zoom, etc
- Ability to customize video share page (ie add a custom logo, colors, etc)
- CNAME
- I really like the transcription option and wish it would take the transcription and auto-generate a title, description, and chapters with it (similar to Loom).

Even without the wish list items, this is a great product.
