I initially believed VistaCreate would be a genuine alternative to Canva, offering similar features and ease of use. However, as I started experimenting with VistaCreate, I quickly realized its limitations. The quality of video downloads was particularly disappointing, rendering them unusable for any practical application. When I attempted to create GIFs from images, the situation worsened, as the output was painfully eye-straining.

On a positive note, VistaCreate is quite adequate for creating static images and simple animations. It offers numerous templates and possibilities in these areas, which are genuinely commendable. The masking function is particularly impressive, and the background remover is both straightforward and highly effective.

Of course, the tool is plagued with more than enough bugs, which can be quite frustrating. Anyone expecting it to be a full-fledged Canva alternative will be sorely disappointed. So, why did I still rate it three stars? It's because of the extensive library of backgrounds and free images that make it useful for static projects.

However, when it comes to video and GIF and Image quality, I can only advise against using VistaCreate. For those looking to animate object groups or seeking slide transitions like morph transitions, they will find themselves out of luck here as well. I have to agree with many other reviews that since VistaCreate was taken over by Vistaprint from Crello, not much has changed in terms of improvement.

This is a great tool overall, everything I need is available from a design perpective. However it has one major flaw...I am facing a significant issue with this tool regarding employee access and permission management. Example, I can't hide sensitive files or folders from other employees. As a business owner, this is a problem because I have to keep all creative materials on an external drive since they are sensitive, and I cannot share them with my employees.

I would prefer the ability to decide what access my employees have, including what they can see, edit, delete, or download. This would ensure that my business has the best protection. Any upcoming features that will address this major issue? If not, I request that you implement these access levels: Owner, Admin, Editor, Designer, and Viewer. Additionally, I would like the option to allow or prevent file downloads, especially for client-sensitive files that I don't want employees to download.

If this major issue was fixed I'd immediately give this tool 5 stars. But right now Its limiting me use this tool at its maximum "As a business" with a variety of clients.

I handle social media updates for various clients, and while many folks use Canva, I snagged a license for Crello (now Vista Create) a few years back and NEVER LOOKED BACK!

This tool has so many features, but the one-click image resizing is a game-changer. Plus, you can remove backgrounds (works great most of the time!) and upload your own fonts.

Honestly, this was one of my best purchases ever. JUST TRY IT! If you don't like it, you can always get a refund.

A couple of downsides: the music search is pretty limited, and you can't edit long videos. It used to freeze a lot, but I haven't had that issue in months.

Excellent because it's easy to use. Unlike other tools, probably more sophisticated, it allows everyone (even me!) to create effective content in a few minutes. I hope this won't change and that the ease of use will remain a priority. However, I am a bit concerned: have there been any changes in the service (for example, new features?) since Crello was acquired by the Vista team? What functional developments do you anticipate?
