new to wordpress here. i was wondering if you could help explain the difference between a wp database cleaner and a wpresetter?
..and does WPReset do both? this competitor of yours has two separate solutions Advanced WordPress Reset and Advanced Database Cleaner by SigmaPlugin. Their limits suck compared to yours, I am just wondering if I also need a Cleaner in addition to wpreset Pro?
WP Reset can obviously reset your site/database, which means it will restore it to a prior version (you have stored in the form of a snapshot). So the reset would wipe everything that happened after that snapshot (you wouldn't have plugins/themes/code/any changes after that). On the other hand, a database cleaner will help you clean your database...
thank you Ivan for breaking it down for a newbie like me. I now understand the difference to some degree in layman terms. One follow up, does WP Reset have a database cleaner for those orphaned objects etc? or would I need a separate tool? it sounds like it does both, but just need to verify. thank you again
haha no need to be sorry. if anything its me not understanding anything being my very first wordpress server i setup. after some digging, i understand they are two separate tool functionalities, just wanted to make sure WP Reset did both so I could refund other I bought. Sounds like I need both afterall now that I understand how they work. I also see comment about Lockdown thank ya for the help!!!
Q: Remote actions and remote stats
May I know what is this: Remote actions and remote stats?
A: Hello, Remote actions and stats allow you to remotely view Snapshot stats from the dashboard (without having to log in to the site), as well as have access to the Emergency Recovery Script and license sync.
If you have multiple sites active, this will help you quickly do a few actions through the dashboard without having to access each site separately through the WordPress login.
whats the problem if my 250mb database is now 3gb after 5 days of use. it is also 3gb after deleting the snapshot. now have to delete manaully because my backup program says to big database
Having five sites means you can have five active sites at once. As soon as you deactivate one, the license becomes available again, so you can activate another site with it.

WP Reset is not a database cleaner, sorry. If you want to clean a database, you will need a separate tool.

No, sorry, this is not a migration plugin. Moving content from one site to another with WP Reset is impossible.

Q: Five active sites?
After activating to 5 sites, will it work normally if I deactivate the license to 1 site and activate the license to the 6th site?

Yes, it will :)
