In HubSpot companies and contacts are distinct record types with (usually) a one to many relationship between companies and contacts. Several of the CRMs we looked at do not treat the company that a contact is associated with as a separate record type. In HubSpot we take advantage of this by using custom data fields to help us filter our company records in a number of ways that helps us with segmenting and targeting companies. (we can target specific business types, locations/communities, etc) I am not fully clear if contacts and companies can be managed in a similar fashion in SalesNexus. Can you clarify?
A: Great question! Yes, we have a separate "table" in our database that we call Groups but, many clients use it the way you use Companies in Hubspot or Accounts in Salesforce. Contacts can be linked to Groups, sales pipeline and notes/activity can be rolled up to the Group view, etc.
We are almost ready to pull the trigger on this. (got the BOD approval to move on Tier 4), but I have a few last questions before going all in..
1. Is there ANY possibility that we can migrate any other data from HubSpot aside from contact and company data? Data for example like: contact activity data, open tasks, email templates. 2. On the bubble if we should exclude contacts who have opted out of mailings. Are we better off just leaving them behind in HubSpot? If we do migrate this data, is there a way to make sure they STAY opted out of emailings? 3. SMTP will we need an external SMTP provider to support outbound emails?
A: Thanks for your question! Yes, we have full service packages to migrate ALL of your CRM data from Hubspot and other CRMs. This includes mapping custom fields and task and note history, open/future tasks, opt-in/out lists. Here's more info about those packages - https://www.salesnexus.com/crm-implementation No, you don't need an additional SMTP provider. We send the emails for you :-)
A: Thanks for your question! I'm not familiar with Folk CRM. However, here are links to comparisons between SalesNexus and other popular CRMs: Hubspot, Salesforce and SalesNexus - https://www.salesnexus.com/free-trial ACT, Salesforce and SalesNexus - https://www.salesnexus.com/blog/act-salesforce-compared-salesnexus CRM Comparison Chart - https://www.salesnexus.com/compare-us
FYI: Irrelevant response. If you had taken a moment to even look at Folk CRM features online you would have realized that the CRMs you reference in your response are not in the least comparable:
Folk CRM distinguishes itself by offering a simple and user-friendly interface tailored for small businesses and individuals, focusing on core functionalities like contact management and task tracking.
In contrast, ACT provides robust contact management for small to mid-sized businesses, Salesforce caters to larger enterprises with extensive customization and features, and SalesNexus combines CRM with marketing automation for small to mid-sized businesses.
Folk CRM's affordability and straightforward functionality appeal to users seeking an uncomplicated solution compared to the more complex offerings of its competitors.
Q: Tier 1 Plan - Is it possible to use more than one email?
Hi there, I have a quick question. If I get the tier 1 plan, can I set up two different emails from the same account for prospecting my potential clients?
A: Yes! You can change the "from" email address any time in any Tier account. However, if you're going to have on-going drip email marketing sequences, manually changing the email address in your account can be complex so, it may make sense to get Tier 2 so you can have more than one user account, each one with a different from email.
A: Thanks for your question! You can create your own sales pipeline reports and dashboards and customize the fields and filters. We have a sales funnel view also. However, there is not a kanban currently.

The last thing I want is add a high learning-curve CRM to to my existing tasks.
Just curious, is there a lifetime license offer here on AppSumo for Folk CRM?
There is NO LTD - lifetime license offer at AppSumo for Folk CRM... in fact Folk CRM has no results in an AS search at all.
Thanks for all of your input!
