SiteBehaviour has been praised for its robust features, responsive support, and user-friendly interface. However, some users have reported occasional issues with heatmaps and delays in support responses. Despite this, the overall rating of 3.7 and a 60-day money-back guarantee make SiteBehaviour a worthwhile consideration for those in search of a cookie-less alternative to Google Analytics.

Quality Replays, Broken Heatmaps: My Concerns with This Product

After evaluating the product, I have serious concerns regarding its reliability and long-term viability. The session replay feature is of higher quality and more consistent than comparable tools like Microsoft Clarity and Plerdy. However, the heatmap functionality has never been operational. A persistent banner stating "working on a fix for the heatmaps, expected to release in a few days 🙏" has been displayed for approximately six months. If this issue were resolved promptly, I would consider upgrading without hesitation. Unfortunately, reaching customer support has proven impossible, which only deepens my doubts. Overall, I am left with the impression that this product may simply be a repurposed CodeCanyon script being heavily promoted, rather than a robust, sustainable solution.

Decent Tool, but Zero support

They've abandoned the tool. They came on App Sumo, made their money, and abandoned it. No responses from support, no tutorials, not a good experience.

Hi,

Sorry for the lack of support; support was limited briefly, but we’re back! A big update is dropping this week, and in-app support is resuming, too.

We haven’t abandoned SiteBehaviour; over 5,000 users rely on it, and we’re here to make it better. Hope we can turn this into a good experience for you!

Thanks,
Jashan

No support

AppSumo-- why is this okay? Far too many of your contributors bail on support after 60 days, SiteBehavior is no exception. I'm getting so fed up with this trend.

Awful Customer Support – I Do Not Recommend This Tool

The tool itself (for me) seems to work, though I haven’t tested it thoroughly.

I asked a simple question months ago, but my email bounced back (email address does not exist). After that, I reached out via chat and was told they were working on it. I also posted a comment here at AppSumo in the questions section, but received no response.

The worst thing that can happen when buying software is poor support. This isn’t just bad support, it’s non-existent.

I’m really disappointed that the refund window has passed…

App and tracking works for me! Great tool, even if not yet perfect.

I don't understand why some people write here that the app supposedly doesn't work. I tried it out today, inserted the code snippet into a page and got matching tracking results directly in the dashboard.

Maybe not everything works perfectly yet, but it all looks pretty good to me already. I can't say anything about support at the moment, but if, as noted in the company and product FAQs, there are 3 people in the team just for support, then requests should (be able to) be answered within a few days. Let's hope it's just a temporary overload coupled with certain absences or a longer holiday period.

Tracking is really quick and easy to set up successfully.
And there are even a few nice special features with the headmap and the screen recordings and the user navigation map, which is not a matter of course for a tracking tool and service. Yes, these features still need to be further refined and optimised, but it's really cool that these features are included.
It's also great that the servers for GDPR and reliability are located in the EU / Germany!
The roadmap also looks promising, but unfortunately the track record is not easy to follow due to the lack of dates / history.
I very much hope that the team will step on the gas again and perhaps step up even further to provide the necessary support!
