I tried to activate it, and got the log in link, and when I clicked it, it took me to a blank page. Tried several browsers and even the desktop app. Then tried the creating a free account using a different email, same issue. Always got the log in link, but there seems to be a glitch on your platform. I wish you had considered having magic link and password option. Stuff like this should be ironed out before launch. Looked good. For now I am going to refund. May try it again at a future date. Wasted 45 minutes.
Q: GUI improvement & Taking inspiration of Literature Review to improve tables
Hello,
Among the alternative, afforai, Paperguide and so on, Socrate is taking interesting results but ergonomy & design is another thing for which Socrate is by very far the last of the list. While competitors have quite modern look & feel and useful ergonomy, Socrates has an old legacy design not rich in how to deal with data.
Literature Review, from Paperpguide, is a cool way of approaching information analysis by having different sources mentioned in a table and their relevant columns we can choose.
Also with Paperguide, users can organise all their internal research properly. Users can annotate, tag the documents as well. Users can use all the research to write articles as the editor has built in research support.
Q: Being able to provide an URL for a given page or youtube
Hi,
A feature we have in Paperguide which is convenient. For youtube, i mean chatting with the video transcript. I suggest being able to provide url and make pdf of them for analysis.

Q: When we don't have a Nvidia GPU, could it use the NPU instead ?
Hi,
All is in the title, ie When we don't have a Nvidia GPU, could it use the NPU instead ?
Jon_Socrates
Oct 30, 2024A: Hello, yes, it automatically uses NPU (Metal) if you're using Mac.
I have this AtomMan X7 Ti https://store.minisforum.de/products/atomman-x7-ti-mini-pc with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H, using with windows 11

Ok, the NPU looks to be integrated in the CPU, which is the fallback if a GPU isn't found.
It seems you mean NPU integrated in the CPU are used ?
