Q: List of channels using Steppit system

Previously your staff stated that the goal was to serve same type of audience as sites like Udemy. However we have not found any list or portal of the different creators currently using your system. Is that available? How are our channel pages indexed and later found if there is no search or listing like Udemy has- since that is your longer term positioning in the market?

A: Hi there 👋 At the moment, Steppit isn’t set up as a traditional marketplace like Udemy – we don’t have a public directory or search feature for browsing creators. Steppit is most valuable from the point of purchase onwards, so we do recommend having a go-to-market plan outside of Steppit before diving into course production.

Down the line, once there’s a wide variety of high-quality courses...

A: Hi there! Our revenue shares only apply if you choose to sell places on your courses directly through Steppit – this is what we recommend if you need an all-in-one solution that can take away some of the costs and time-consuming tasks you’d otherwise face when selling to people around the world, such as automatically processing payments from your sales. If you choose this option, from every...

Q: What if I don't want all that?

In an answer to another Sumoling about you all taking a percentage of our students' payments, you said ""Our share allows us to process your learner payments, calculate and file sales taxes on your courses, provide technical support to your learners..."

I don't want anyone else doing any of this for me. I can process my own payments with my own Stripe account, calculate my own sales taxes with my own Stripe account and be personable with my students and provide them with tech support.

I could have digested the idea of revenue-sharing if you'd said something like "the percentage we take helps us offset the cost of offering lifetime plans and still be able to afford to grow long-term." You mention nothing about growth.

How can I pay you here on AppSumo and then use your product keeping 100% of what my students pay me for my courses?

A: Hi Faydra, thanks for your question. Our revenue shares only apply if you choose to sell places on your courses directly through Steppit, which would mean using the platform to process payments automatically. In your case, where you can process your own payments, the best solution would be to sell your courses off-Steppit (e.g. via your own website or e-commerce platform), and then use the...

Q: Do you have a multiple license lifetime tier plan? Or will you be considering coming up with that anytime soon?

A: Hi there, if you’re referring to a plan offering more than one lifetime deal in one single package, unfortunately we don’t have that on offer, but you can always buy multiple lifetime deal licenses separately. After activating them, you will have access to multiple Steppit Pro channels under the same account, even if you’ve bought different tiers (e.g. tier 1 and tier 2 deals). Hope that...

Q: Follow up from my previous message

Thank you in advance for your response. I have one final question as I am very interested in the platform. My question concerns the channel setup.

I am planning to run various courses that fall into three different categories. I may need to have three separate channels, one for each category, where students can interact with each other.

Is this possible on the platform? If you could confirm this, it would be wonderful. I am very keen on purchasing the platform and appreciate your assistance.

A: Hi there, happy to help with these final questions for you. Yes, it's possible to have three separate channels, and you can access all of these with the same login. If you'd like the lifetime deal features on all three channels, this would require multiple licenses as it's one license per channel.

Students can interact with one another when they're on the same course. You have some different...
